The Role

This is an ideal role for a logistics professional with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in air freight forwarding who is looking to take on a leadership position. The role focuses on managing end-to-end air freight operations while leading a team in a fast-paced and time-critical environment and based in Techo International Airport, Phnom Penh

Description

• Lead, manage, and oversee daily Air Import and Export operations to ensure smooth and efficient shipment handling

• Manage and supervise the Air Freight team to achieve departmental KPIs and operational targets

• Coordinate and maintain strong working relationships with airlines, vendors, suppliers, agents, and customers

• Ensure all operations comply with company SOPs, airline requirements, customs regulations, and applicable trade laws

• Handle shipment issues, delays, claims, and escalation cases with effective problem-solving and decision-making

• Prepare monthly operational and performance reports for management review

• Coach, train, and evaluate team members to enhance team capability and service quality

• Support management in planning, operational improvements, and strategic development initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of working experience in Air Freight Forwarding (Import & Export) in assistant managerial level or similar level in the same industry

• Strong knowledge of air cargo operations, airline booking processes, documentation, and customs clearance procedures

• Good command of English communication, both written and spoken

• Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent, time-sensitive shipments

• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
