Description
The Business Development Consultant is responsible for developing new customer and executing commercial strategy to drive volume and contribution margin growth and maximize opportunities for the customer
This will require continuous building and developing a deep understanding of the customer’s success drivers, corresponding requirements, organizational setup, and competitive environment and being considered the customer’s advocate
The Business Development Consultant will work closely with the various company's businesses and functions to execute upon tactical and long-term opportunities identify and match customer’s needs within the company capabilities
Focus on commercial priorities, build, and develop the market in delivering the company product and solutions
Executes commercial and growth strategies for new and existing offerings through deep understanding of customer needs
Work closely with the internal business tags, technical services, and marketing to explore new sales and customer projects
Business Development Consultant will be measured by KRAs - margin growth, volume growth, new wins, cross selling rate, project pipeline
Build relationship with key stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers and develop a solid understanding of customer’s needs
Collaborate with internal external teams to support customer projects and partnerships
Build an intimate understanding of the customer’s marketing/ commercial/ technical strategies and corresponding expectations from (and success factors for)
Stays informed of market developments and trends
Partner with internal and external network of contacts to develop deep market insights and positioning of our product offerings to increase market penetration success
Work closely with the sales and marketing support functions to assess competitor capabilities along with comparisons to business’s capabilities to determine gaps and to position offerings as the preferred choice over competitive options
Requirements
Minimum 5 to 8 years sales and channel management experience in a B2B or FMCG environment
Good Track record and experience in Cambodian Food Ingredients market
Proven ability to drive sales performance in line with business strategies/priorities with a strong customer focus approach
Strong Communication skills
