Job Description

​Finance Manager at the Engineering Consulting Company in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

    •        Oversee full-cycle accounting and financial including reporting and budgeting, and project costing

    •         Up to USD 4,500 + Attractive Bonus

The Role

Responsible to oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.

We are partnering with a reputable engineering consulting company to hire a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and support business growth in Vietnam.

Description

    •         Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations

    •        Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

    •         Prepare management reports, financial statements, and analysis

    •         Monitor project costing, revenue recognition, and profitability for engineering projects

    •        Ensure compliance with Vietnamese accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies

    •          Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital

    •          Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and authorities

    •         Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions and project performance

    •         Lead and develop the finance team

Requirements

    •          Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

    •          8 to 12 years of experience in finance and accounting

    •          Experience in engineering consulting, construction, or project-based industries is highly preferred

    •          Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS) and tax regulations

    •         Proven experience in financial reporting, project costing, and business partnering

    •         Leadership experience with good stakeholder management skills

    •          Professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA) are a plus

    •          Fluent in Vietnamese and good English communication skills
