• Providing legal advice to Management and teams within organization and reviewing on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.

• Up to 2,000 USD + Other Allowances

The Role

You will be responsible for supporting the legal team in managing a broad range of legal matters, including contract management, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and litigation support.

Description

• Review and provide legal advice on Contracts, and tender documents

• Provide and conduct training to employees on company's rules and regulations

• Conduct in-depth research on emerging legal issues affecting the banking industry and provide concise summaries to senior management.

• Monitor changes in local and international banking regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, and data privacy laws)

• Act as a point of contact for external counsel regarding ongoing litigation cases

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB). A Master’s degree (LLM) or professional legal certification is a plus

• 3–5 years of experience as a Legal Executive, Paralegal, or Associate, preferably within a law firm’s banking practice or an in-house legal department of a financial institution

• Business English and Khmer are required

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and diplomatic skills
