QC Manager at an International Automotive manufacturing in Pursat

The Role
This role is responsible for leading all quality assurance and quality control activities across manufacturing operations. You will oversee quality systems, customer standards, process improvement, and compliance initiatives while driving operational excellence and continuous quality improvement across the business

Description
Lead and manage overall quality assurance and quality control activities across manufacturing operations
Develop and implement quality strategies, systems, and procedures to support operational and customer quality standards
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and manufacturing performance
Monitor quality KPIs including customer complaints, warranty claims, scrap reduction, and non-conformance management
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and other relevant quality management standards
Coordinate OEM audits, customer inspections, and internal quality assessments
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation for quality issues
Work closely with engineering, production, and operations teams to improve manufacturing quality processes
Support APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, and MSA activities across manufacturing operations
Develop and coach quality teams while promoting a strong quality culture across the organization
Prepare quality reports, operational analysis, and management updates on quality performance
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive, or related Engineering field
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or quality management environments
Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and FMEA
Experience managing OEM audits, customer complaints, warranty analysis, and quality reporting
Good understanding of automotive assembly processes and manufacturing systems
Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills
Experience driving continuous improvement, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
Ability to manage cross-functional coordination and work effectively under pressure
