Job Description

​Assistant Director of Sales at a 5 Star Luxury Hotel Chain in Phnom Penh

  • Responsible to Manage and Develop sales activities, Strategies and to promote the work culture and company’s core values

  • Up to $1,700 per month

The Role

The ideal background of the candidate would come from a 3 or 4 - stars rating hotel and have hands-on sales experience, proven leadership skills, and a track record of outstanding commercial results with the addition of working at the managerial level for at least 4 or 5 years of period

Description

  • Produces the annual revenue plan in conjunction with the executive committee, sales and marketing budgets, and forecasts

  • Produces, implements, and monitors action plans to ensure Revenue Plan Objectives are achieved

  • Analyse current and potential markets/ trends, coordinates all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume and increased rate

  • Creates and implements special programs to achieve greater productivity

  • Manages key accounts

  • Work with human resources to ensure the departmental performance of staff is productive

  • Work with the financial controller in the preparation and management of the department budget

  • Obligation to act responsibly and perform work duties in accordance with workplace health and safety standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry with experience working in 3 or 4 - star rating hotels with at least 4 - 6 years in a leadership role

  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin Language would be added advantage

  • Proven leadership and communication skills

  • Able to work independently without direct supervision as well as cohesively as a team
