Commercial Sales Manager at one of the World Largest Container Shipping Companies in Phnom Penh

  • Responsible to attract customers, manage and maintain a good relationship with key accounts, local as well as regional and international customers to drive business & revenue growth

Description

  • Manage a sales team and be accountable for the performance and budget

  • Coordinate with other functions/countries to optimize the process and drive the business

  • To attract customers, manage and maintain a good relationship with key accounts, local as well as regional and international customers to drive business & revenue growth and market share

  • To identify new business opportunities for sales team to develop into profitable growth businesses and follow up new sales leads to secure the success of business

  • To develop and implement sales strategies and plans

  • To determine salesforce effectiveness and performance through KPI measurement

  • To promote Value Added Services products

  • To optimize sales resources, ensure opportunities are pursued

  • To organize and participate in joint sales visits on customers and involve in negotiation with customers to achieve desired results

  • Develop team performance through mentoring and identifying training needs

  • Coach and inspire sales team to enhance performance, capabilities, and professionalism

  • Other: ad-hoc projects, to be a successor of Country Manager to join management meeting and other commercial matters

Requirements

  • Diploma in sales & marketing, business administration, communications, or related field is preferred

  • Minimum 10 years of commercial management experience (of which at least 5 years in a leadership role) at international forwarding companies or container shipping line

  • Great interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Able to negotiate and build relationships

  • Customer focus with the ability to establish and maintain successful client relations

  • Fluent in English
