HR Manager at an International Manufacturing Company in Vientiane, Laos

  • Overseeing all aspects of HR operations and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with the company's objectives and local regulations, the primary focus will be on recruiting, onboarding, talent management, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws

Responsibilities

  • To develop the HR strategies to support the organization goals and objectives.

  • To implement all the HR guidelines, policies, procedures, and practices and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and hire talented individuals for various roles within the organization, conduct effective onboarding programs, generate effective succession planning and talent strategies.

  • Develop employee capabilities, providing feedback, coaching, and training as needed, and employee retention strategies to enhance job satisfaction and minimize the turnover rate.

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.

  • Oversee payroll administration, benefits administration, and leave management.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in line with legal requirements.

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures.

  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and training sessions to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in relevant field as a managerial role

  • Fluent level of English, both spoken and written

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, recruitment strategies, and talent management
