Inventory Planning Manager at a Global Market Expansion Leader in Phnom Penh

  • Responsible for inventory management and demand planning of FMCG business unit

  • Up to 5,000 USD plus other allowances

The Role

This is excellent opportunity for individual with extensive inventory performance management, strong internal stakeholders’ management, demand planning and suppliers’ management to control the stock volume and challenge the sales forecast with the understanding of FMCG products condition.

Description

  • Manage operating departmental budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable

  • Manage and develop forecasting strategies, guidelines, and processes to ensure inventory is planned at an optimal level to meet target turns

  • Review stock performance data, challenge sales forecast where appropriate and make recommendations for optimal inventory turns

  • Manage and enhance forecasting tools (e.g. MRP) or techniques to ensure optimum inventory scheduling and forecasting

  • Review purchase orders to maximize service delivery performance, inventory turns, working capital performance and revenue growth

  • Establish and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (e.g forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs targets, etc.)

  • Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends

  • Manage communications and relationships with all suppliers

  • Collaborate with internal team to identify and resolve discrepancies between forward-looking sales forecasts and demand forecasts

  • Manage and oversee team’s delivery of team/function goals to drive execution against goals set

  • Drive and manage learning and development of team in the area of Forecasting and behavior to achieve team/function goals

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 or 5 years of working experience in handling the similar functions within FMCG industry and minimum 2 or 3 years of experience in leadership or management role would be additional requirements

  • Strong English Communication Skills

  • Team Player, customer centric, integrity would play major parts in the role
