Job Description

​Network Technical Manager at ICT Solution Company in Vientiane

  • Planning, implementing, and managing the datacentre, network, and security infrastructure for our subsidiary in Laos

  • Up to 37,177,290 LAK plus other benefits

The Role:

  • Overseeing the network operations, datacentre administration, and security systems and leading a team responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and security of the network infrastructure

Description

  • Manage the network infrastructure team in Laos

  • Plan and implement network architecture, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security

  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of the datacenter infrastructure

  • Ensure the availability and performance of network resources, including switches, routers and firewalls

  • Implement and maintain dynamic routing protocols, optimizing network traffic and performance

  • Manage relationships with vendors and third-party contractors, ensuring the procurement of quality network and security products and services

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher (Bac+5) in Information Technology, Networks/Telecoms, or a related field

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a network engineer, preferably in the telecom/datacentre/cloud computing industry

  • Strong experience in datacentre administration, network infrastructure design, and implementation.

  • Proficiency in network administration using Cisco, Vyos, Mikrotik, and Fortinet equipment

  • Expertise in firewall technology, especially Fortinet

  • Familiarity with network monitoring and performance optimization tools

  • Fluent in Thai or Lao. Good command of English
