​Sales Manager at One of the Largest Global Container Shipping Companies in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

  • Responsible for managing indoor and outdoor sales for all trades (export and import)

  • Up to $1,500 per month

The Role

The ideal background for the role is to have hands-on sales experience from the shipping industry, and experience in handling both nominee and freehand customers for both export/import trade. Good understanding of intermodal business. Able to work independently and has a strong collaborative mindset

Description

  • Responsible for indoor and outdoor sales for all trades (Export and Import)

  • Develop clients and increase company service presence (Ocean Freight + Trucking)

  • Respond to all quotations/inquiries from customers

  • Prepare detailed sales reporting and market surveys (good analytical skills required, with Excel use)

  • Share sales leads throughout the company’s worldwide network, and initiate business connections between POL, POD, and Head office

  • Attending customer complaints and coordinating with various internal departments (Documentation, Operation, Accounts, and Transshipment) to resolve the issues and uphold the service commitment to the customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or similar

  • A minimum of 3 or 5 years of sales experience in Shipping / Logistic industry

  • At least Business level in English and Mandarin would be added advantages

  • Be able to work under pressure and good at working as a team

  • Constant care of customer’s needs and expectation

  • Great networking skills
