Job Description

​Senior Accountant at a Well-known FMCG Company in Phnom Penh

  • Managing and overseeing the daily accounting functions and directly supporting and closely working with the Finance Manager

The Role

Manage overall accounting and finance functions including assisting Finance Manager for yearly forecasting and budgeting

Description

  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

  • Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports.

  • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts

  • Assist on management report with commentary analysis on the financial result

  • Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance

  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

  • Monitor liquidity, responsible for cash flow management, cash flow forecast, manage foreign currency risk and customer credit risk

  • Support the business operation and lead the new IT implementation of the organisation

Requirements

  • Preferred experience with SAP system

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or other relevant fields

  • Minimum 3-4 years of working experience in accounting or related fields

  • At least 1-year experience in managing/leading team

  • Knowledge of accounting software & advanced excel

  • Self-motivated and independent

  • Self-organize, good communication & teamwork

  • Be honest and trustworthy
