​Senior Supervisor - Business Development at a Global Supply Chain Solution Provider Company in Phnom Penh

  • Responsible for Prospecting New Potential Clients for Freight Services

  • Up to $ 850 per month

The ideal background for the role is having at least a year of sales experience working in a logistics or freight forwarding company. Confident personality, able to work independently and as well as with the team

Our client is considered a multinational company supply chain solution provider globally with a global team of 15,000 members working worldwide across the entire supply chain through interconnected business networks: Trading, Logistics, and Distribution


  • Prospect for potential new clients for freight services and turn this into an increased profitable business

  • Identify and set up meetings with potential clients and decision-makers by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network or attending industry functions, such as events and conferences

  • Present the company profile to potential clients, ensuring their knowledge of the company's capabilities and services is relevant and up-to-date

  • Screen potential RFI/RFP by analyzing tender information evaluate internal fit and recommend next steps

  • Plan approaches and pitches. Work with internal teams to develop proposals and pricing the solution/service that speaks to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives. Align with the line manager and submit a proposal on time

  • Closes new business deals by coordinating contract negotiations and getting advice from Corporate Legal, integrating contract requirements with business operations

  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and transition to the Operations team


  • Bachelor's degree in Logistic & Supply Chain Management or similar

  • At least 1 – 2 years of working experience in a Sales/ Business Development role in the Logistic or Freight Forwarding Company

  • Good understanding of the global freight market, services, and players

  • Strong interpersonal skills, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Quick critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer-centric

  • Speaking excellent English and Mandarin would be highly appreciated
