The Role

This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced Early Years educator to oversee the academic quality and day-to-day educational delivery of the nursery school. You will lead and develop the teaching team while ensuring a safe, engaging, and child-centred learning environment.

Description

• Lead and oversee the Early Years curriculum, teaching standards, and learning outcomes 
• Ensure lesson planning and classroom practices are developmentally appropriate and child-centred 
• Coach, mentor, and provide ongoing support to Early Years teachers and teaching assistants 
• Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching quality 
• Support curriculum planning, assessment, and continuous improvement of the Early Years programme 
• Ensure a safe, positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for children 
• Work closely with parents and provide appropriate communication regarding children's learning and development 
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance development of teaching staff 
• Work closely with school management on academic planning and school improvement initiatives 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field
• Recognised Early Years/Early Childhood teaching qualification is highly preferred
• Strong experience teaching within an Early Years, preschool, kindergarten, or nursery environment
• Previous experience as a Head of Early Years, Early Years Coordinator, Academic Coordinator, Lead Teacher, or similar leadership position is preferred
• Strong understanding of Early Years curriculum, child development, assessment, and classroom practices
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop teachers
• Strong leadership, communication, and parent-management skills
• Passionate about early childhood education and creating positive learning experiences for young children
• Excellent command of English is required
