HR/Admin & Operations Officerat a Leading Outsourcing & Corporate Secretarial Services Firm in Vientiane Salary will be negotiable Reporting Manager - Country Manager (“CM”) The Role Provide administrative support and guidance to managers and staff across the full range of HR, Admin and Operations activities. Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for HR related queries. Develop and maintain administrative systems and procedures to provide support forHR and Admin activity and projects. This includes: Drafting employment contracts and basic correspondence to individualsrelating to the employee life-cycle. Collating and circulating documents. Ensuring staff records are well maintained and that periodic tidying up ofrecords is undertaken. Plan, organize and manage all activities of the Payroll Operations Team handling the Lao PDR Clients Management of payroll for the internal and external (client), including Personal Income Tax and LSSO of internal and client employees. Making and managing actual payments to the TaxRIS and for LSSO for internal and client employees. Dealing with government ministries related to Tax, Labour, Social Security and Immigration. Liaising with finance team to distribute salaries to bank accounts of internal and client employees on time. Review and processing of purchase orders, invoices and expenses. Maintaining supplier set-ups, requesting bank details and verifying changes. Liaise with finance team to manage tax matters in relation to the internal and external (client) companies' business, including Personal Income Tax, Corporate Tax, Value Added Tax, Withholding Tax, Etc. Work closely with the Country Manager to remain aware of local and state policies and procedures and provide strategic advice on license applications, submission, and investment opportunities for Government approval. Act as spokesperson for the client and representative for the company on license application to crucial Government departments and elected officials, their staff, and administrative agencies. Take proactive action for any Government Relations issues and processes; raise awareness among the team. Undertake any other work that may be reasonably required from time to time. Provide administration support for recruitment campaigns when needed which may include: posting job adverts; liaising with candidates; processing reference requests and other background checks; preparing offer letters and employment contracts; notifying unsuccessful candidates if necessary. In addition to the above, you may be required to work on other projects under the direction of the Country Manager. Senior Accounts Officer at a Leading Outsourcing & Corporate Secretarial Services Firm in Vientiane Salary will be negotiable Reporting Manager - Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Country Manager The Role To provide full finance and accounting support for the smooth operation of services within the organization in Lao PDR. Responsibilities Managing and overseeing the daily operations of internal and external (client) companies. Plan, organize, and manage all activities of the Payroll Operations Team responsible for handling clients in Lao PDR. Understanding the nature of the business by meeting with internal and external (client) companies and their internal finance team. Communicating regularly with internal and external (client) companies for transaction information and supporting documentation. Preparing a suitable Chart of Accounts (CoA) for the client's business. Liaise with internal and external (client) companies to plan annual audit requirements for the accounts. Regularly discuss the Final Report with internal and external (client) companies via online meetings or face-to-face. Ensuring accurate allocation, posting, and reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable of internal and external (client) companies. Responsible for managing tax matters related to the internal and external (client) companies' business, including Personal Income Tax, Corporate Tax, Value Added Tax, Withholding Tax, etc. Regularly reviewing financial information and being prepared to provide a summary of the financial status. Producing error-free accounting reports and presenting the results monthly to management. Identifying problems and suggesting ways to improve efficiency and reduce business expenses. Recording and entering data into the cloud accounting system and managing online accounts. Prepare the Statement of Cash Flow (daily, weekly, monthly).
