​Assistant Procurement Manager at a Global Group of Companies in Phnom Penh

  • Responsible to assist to procurement manager in reporting, daily task, developing processes to standardize and maximize the process efficiency and control of internal operation

  • Up to $1,300 plus other allowances

Description

  • Support procurement manager in developing criteria and checklists to meet Company’s requirements and policies in terms of product specification, quality, service and reliability standards help the purchasing team/procurement team evaluate suppliers’ proposals as well as measure the supplier’s performance

  • Implement procurement and supply chain policies/procedures and plans. Coordinate the supplier tender process, purchasing activities and reporting

  • Support procurement manager in managing day to day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources

  • Implement procurement policies/procedures and plans to ensure cost savings/greater economies of scale. Drive compliant behaviors within and outside the organization

  • Work closely with team members and provide guidance, training and support direct reporting staff to optimize their contributions

  • Check and verify all Daily, Weekly, and Monthly report of all Purchasing, payment, shipment track, Suppliers Performance Track, and other report as required by manager

  • Check and verify all invoice and related document to Accounting team for payment process

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience

  • Experiences with food industry related to Purchasing, Logistics, Inventory Controlling and Supply Chain Management in supervisor level or equivalent at least 2-3 years

  • Commercially, financially, and ERP System aware

  • Highly skilled at building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and supplier
