AR Supervisor at a Well-known Manufacturing Company in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

The Role

This role is critical for overseeing and managing the accounts receivable team to ensure efficient and accurate processing of invoices and payments

Description

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve collection processes and ensure timely collection of payments

  • Verify and reconcile customer accounts, invoices, and payment records

  • Prepare and present regular financial reports such as aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and reconciliation statements to management

  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., sales, customer service, project managers) to resolve billing discrepancies and set up billing schedules

  • Maintain compliance with company policies, internal controls, and relevant financial regulations

  • Conduct credit checks on new clients and approve credit terms

  • Manage documentation related to accounts receivable, including invoices, payment records, and customer statements

  • Lead and train the AR team, conduct performance reviews, and hold regular meetings to discuss goals and improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

  • At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or financial supervision, preferably in manufacturing or related industries

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar systems

  • Knowledge of financial transaction analysis, tax regulations in Cambodia, and internal control procedures

  • Strong communication skills in English and Khmer, both written and verbal, to interact with customers and internal teams
