​Business Development Manager at a Singapore International Educational Business Company in Phnom Penh

  • Responsible to work with the head of the department to develop enrichment and professional learning category

This is an ideal role for an individual who is passionate about sales, business development, and interaction with external professionals at decision-making levels. An individual who is interested in developing new products verticals

About the company

Our client is Top Singapore Educational School in Cambodia and considered as University of London’s first and only recognized training center in Cambodia to offer the international foundation programmed and professional learning and development


  • Drive Professional Development sales b designing and implementing targets marketing strategies

  • Do desk research about training/education industries, particularly to keep on with track the revolution of the market changes related the training provision and record into data collection from stored in shared point

  • Collect key findings about new contact lists tracking from different sources

  • Work closely with the sales team to gather market insights and develop targets sales strategies

  • Support and implement Professional Development marketing campaigns (exhibitions/ trade-fair, roadshows etc) and other events assigned by Professional Development division, as well as the school events

  • Do “Cold Calls” and contact potential and existing customers/parents on the phone, per email, and in person

  • Arrange meetings with potentials for promoting and selling training programmed

  • Analyze workforce training needs, recommend, and implement solutions, and evaluation measure effectiveness

  • Attend meetings with potentials for promoting and selling training program

  • Analyse workforce training needs, recommend, and implement solutions, and evaluation measure effectiveness

  • Attend business networking events to build up reputation and find more prospects

  • Design TNA, course evaluation of the training documents based on training needs

  • Attend stakeholder discussions on the design and development program and curriculum, partner with internal and/or external vendors to achieve defined training, learning and development objectives


  • Minimum 3 -5 years of business development experience in the service industry, professional learning or similar

  • Meticulous, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced start-up environment

  • Has an eye for detail and is willing to be hands-on in engaging customers and managing events

  • Proficient in English – both spoken and written

  • Results-oriented, self-driven, confident, and resilient

  • Have a wide-ranging network in key Khmer communities, including outreach plans on working and networking with Khmer VIPs/ excellencies/ trade and industry leaders
