About the Company

• Our client is a 5-star upscale hotel which provides a range of services and amenities ensuring the excellence and comfort of the guests’ stay

• Description

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounts department

• Prepare and manage the financial budget of the hotel

• Implement and oversee all activities relating to the financial aspects of the hotel and hotel’s shops in compliance with the local tax laws

• Responsible for the financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, auditing and control, asset and liability reconciliation, working capital, and cash control, etc.

• Update all legal documentations relating to the financial status of the hotel and ensure the confidentiality

Requirements

• At least 5 to 10 years of experience in Finance and Management with experience in managing the day-to-day financial operations in an up-scale (4/5 Star) hotel or hospitality industry

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting or similar major

• Qualified Charted Accountant (CA) is preferred

• Proficiency in MS Applications

• Knowledge in Hotel Management Software or Property Management Systems like FIDELIO, OPERA, Protel, etc.

• Fluent in both spoken and written English

• Strong Financial knowledge, analytical and organizational skills

• Excellent financial/ business decision-making

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
