The Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in international trade and export strategy, with a proven track record of successfully introducing Thai or ASEAN products into global markets. This role requires strategic thinking, market intelligence, and strong commercial leadership to identify opportunities, build partnerships, and execute export plans that deliver revenue growth and competitive advantage

Description

• Identify high-potential international markets for Thai products across food, agricultural commodities, FMCG, and industrial goods

• Analyze global demand trends, regulatory environments, and competitive landscapes

• Develop and execute export strategies for targeted products and regions

• Build strong relationships with Thai suppliers, manufacturers, and global buyers

• Lead contract negotiations, trade agreements, and commercial terms

• Oversee end-to-end trade cycles including compliance, logistics, and documentation

• Provide leadership insights on global trade trends and guide internal teams for efficient execution

• Achieving revenue and margin targets through strategic commercial decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

• Minimum 10–15+ years of experience in global trade, export strategy, or international business development

• Proven success in exporting Thai or ASEAN products into international markets

• Deep knowledge of global commodity flows, trade regulations, and demand markets

• Strong network across Thai producers and global buyers

• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills

• Thai Native with Fluent English
