Description

• Negotiate and draft skills and business sense to deal with multiple functional teams

• Monitor and provide legal and regulatory updates related to business operation to the management team and relevant departments

• Draft and review contracts such as leases, licenses, mergers, acquisitions, and more

• Review the legal risks involved in various business deals and share the same with the management

• Advise on the legal aspects of cash management, bank account agreements, anti-money laundering initiatives, and contracts for the custody or investment of the organization’s financial resources

• Review, update, and recommend for approval standard documentation, in accordance with market and industry practice, for use in derivative transactions

• Ensure that organizational legal matters are managed properly, efficiently, and that the relevant and respective stakeholders are shared and given proper advice and guidance

Requirements

• 10+ years of legal experience in a top tier national or international law firm or business

• Bachelor's Degree in Law with strong academic qualifications

• Native Singaporean or Malaysian and Business English is required

• Strong legal experience in corporate and commercial matters

• Solid knowledge of general business law including regulatory framework
