The Role

This is an ideal role for an individual who has a minimum of 10 years of similar experience and has a great understanding of Cambodia's business landscape and experience working in the startup phase. At least experience handling the responsibilities of MD, COO, or GM role leading similar operational structure. Open to considering either expatriate or Khmer Nationality

Description

• Responsible to drive the business and company’s market opportunities, market positions, competitive landscape, and growth prospects

• Evaluate the existing organizational structure and the management team and identify opportunities for improvement

• Identify and prioritize specific action items directed toward achieving specific, measurable business results within the timeframe

• Lead the team in the implementation and execution of the action items

• Identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities and craft appropriate operating strategies to drive top-line revenues

• Take the lead in developing effective sales and marketing programs to grow the business, deepen penetration of existing industry both vertical and horizontal, and enter new markets

• Effectively communicate the priorities and strategies throughout the company and to the Board of Directors

• Craft, present a clear, cohesive statement of strategy and direction to the customers, investors, suppliers, and other stakeholders

• Lead and manage the company to continually achieve its short-term and long-term goals

• Direct responsibility for managing the heads of all functions, including business development, sales & marketing, operations, finance & accounting, safety, maintenance, and other appropriate functions

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of senior operating experience, including experience as Managing Director, COO, or General Manager from a similar industry context

• Have a track record of profitably managing and growing a company in a similar industry

• Proficient in English – both spoken and written

• Results-oriented, self-driven, confident, and resilient

• Strong leadership skills

• Open for both Khmer and Foreign Nationality
