​Native English Teacher at an International School in Phnom Penh

  • Responsible for ensuring that students learn proper grammar, writing, reading comprehension, and creating lesson plans that will teach students the skills they need

Description

  • Compose lesson plans in order to successfully incorporate the full duration of each lesson

  • Execute lessons efficiently using different styles of teaching depending on the content

  • Teach students the correct pronunciation of words

  • Teach students to think critically when studying literature and poetry

  • Assign homework and interesting exercises

  • Identify students with special requirements and create individualized plans

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an English teacher

  • Knowledge of various teaching methods

  • Native English speaker is a must

  • A patient and resilient personality

  • BSc/BA in English Language or English Literature; MSc is a plus
