​Product Specialist at an International Automotive Company in Phnom Penh

  • Responsible to support the sales operational function of the automotive business unit

The Role

The is an ideal role for individual who has good experience in handling sales operation function from Automotive business

About the company

Our client is one of the leading international groups of business in Cambodia with extensive portfolios such as Automotive, international F&B business, heavy machinery, and construction paint etc.


  • Take part in the logistic planning, import and custom formality

  • Follow up production schedule and track production status with regional planning team

  • Review and update sales forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly), status of sold order vehicles, feature constraint & unconstraint, and update schedule production based on VISTA

  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales Team, and Finance Teams to plan and monitor physical stock level, stock locator

  • Work closely with related departments to ensure dealership operations run smoothly

  • Build individual pre-order vehicle and create new order in ordering system

  • Pull and organize data to support creation of product proposals for GDCE (docket price) and OEM (price inflation)

  • Prepare and maintain costing and price structure analyses. Coordinate between dealership and RPM in preparation of major product planning milestones, sales target, retailer performance actions, OEM incentive program (BBP)

  • Identify and delegate clear responsibilities to related department when JLR AP create new action in RPTK to ensure effective performance

  • Support sales/ marketing in preparing retailer planning and activities such as road show event, new product launching event, VIP customer event

  • Manage weekly meetings between RPM, NSM and GM

  • Join weekly and monthly meetings with Management team

  • Handle weekly and monthly report to GM, Finance, AP team

  • Maintain APO website (AL) makes sure that all APO vehicles are correctly uploaded, and its information are floated in website

  • Coach and train dealership staff about product knowledge, vehicle specifications

  • Ensure that JLR KPIs are achieved and below criteria are well monitor

  • + CXP activities monitoring: CXP Vs VISTA hand follow-ups VISTA order bank, Sales6 quality, lead follow up (open lead, neglected lead), response rate, data quality, customer experience, retail target, order call, aged stock, CEIP sales and service email capture, reachable data quality

  • + VISTA monitoring: build and amend specification, sum up option value for each created order, update: production status, feature

  • Review JLR AP’s incentive programs such as VME, VIM, and DCC support, and take response action to claim the incentive by submitting a reference and claim form to JLR


  • Minimum bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in handling sales operation functions and inventory management from the automotive industry or similar

  • Good command of English Communication

  • Able to work independently and have strong coordination experience
