Purchaser at an International Agriculture Company in Phnom Penh
Responsible to develop purchasing strategies for the factory and oversee international suppliers
Up to $700 plus other benefits
The Role
Interesting Opportunity for Purchasing operations who can handle purchasing strategies for an International Agriculture organization
About the Company
Our client is International Agriculture Company with growing distribution livestock business in Asia
Description
To manage the whole purchasing process, provide strategic plan for the development procurement process and manage daily operation
To contact and negotiate with oversea suppliers and sourcing the new suppliers
To supervise and lead the procurement team to be achieve, contract management and review vendors performance
Monitor stock level and place order as needed, coordinate with supply chain team to ensure proper storage | Update list of suppliers regularly
Improve the purchasing cost of purchased materials, e.g., initiate and drive cost down projects at the suppliers’ and involve the appropriate team, e.g., value analysis, decrease of technical requirements
Update the Company system in terms of new raw materials and prices (local raw materials)
Visit, evaluate, audit the suppliers with QA department
Requirements
At least 2 years experience in purchasing | preferably in the agriculture industry
Intermediate English and additional Vietnamese is added bonus
Understanding of supply chain procedure, solid skill in creating financial reporting and conducting cost analysis
Having experience in working with suppliers from various nationalities
Good Communication and strong negotiation skills
