Job Description

​Senior Network Engineer at an International ICT Solution Provider Company in Phnom Penh

About the Company

Our client is an international ICT Solutions Provider company in Cambodia to provide customers with quality cybersecurity software, hardware, and peripheral equipment

The Role

  • Developing and designing network architecture and computer systems infrastructure

  • Overseeing the development, installation, configuration, and administration of computer systems

  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and documentation

  • Monitoring computer systems and networks for viruses, malfunctions, and errors

  • Troubleshooting technical issues and developing effective solutions

  • Preparing network analytics, data reports, and operational manuals

  • Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)

  • Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices

  • Monitor network performance and integrity

Requirements

  • BA or Bsc in a technical discipline (computer science, engineering)

  • Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP)

  • Solid background in network administration and architecture

  • In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)

  • Familiarity with access control models and network security

  • Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g Python, Perl)

  • Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools)

  • Familiarity with operating systems, such as Linux and UNIX

  • Experience with database management software, such as MySQL, Oracle RDBMS, and Microsoft SQL Server
