Job Description

​Senior Officer, Core Banking System Development at a Well-Known Financial Services Company in Phnom Penh

  • Prepare technical specification documents, to modify, configuration/development, and technically test applications and interfaces interacting with the Core Banking System according to agreed requirements and specifications

Our client is a well-known financial services company in Cambodia to financial advice, including flexible and easily accessible loans, offering a full suite of deposit, saving, payment, and transfer services for rural and urban households and enterprises

Description

  • Translate business requirements to technical documents in accordance with agreed templates

  • Take ownership and ensure high quality and timely delivery of multiple configuration, customization and developments in accordance with related development plans

  • Participate in project implementation assigns by Manager

  • Test software to ensure the code is correct, fixing ('debugging') errors where they occur, and rerunning and rechecking the program until it produces the correct results

  • Develop customizations and interfaces in the Core Banking System in conformance with development standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or MIS

  • 2 years professional experience in IT programming preferably in Banking or Microfinance industry

  • SQL scripting on Ms. SQL and Oracle database, working knowledge of Unix commands

  • ITIL/ITSM and best practices methodologies
