​Senior Officer, Database Administrator at an International Financial Services Company in Phnom Penh

Our client is an international financial services company in Cambodia to financial advice, as well as wealth and asset management solutions for individuals, groups, and institutions

Description

  • Establish the needs of users and monitor user access and security

  • Monitor performance and manage parameters to provide fast responses to front-end users

  • Map out the conceptual design for a planned database

  • Consider both back-end organization of data and front-end accessibility for end-users

  • Refine the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model

  • Further refining the physical design to meet system storage requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science

  • Holding Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) is plus

  • Strong Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL database administration

  • Good Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database or server problem

  • Have Knowledge in database performance tuning and optimization

  • Knowledge of (HA) High Availability and (DR) Disaster Recovery, Linux OS, Solaris and variety of storage products is plus

  • Experience with database backup, restore, recovery and security
