The Role

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the execution of complex IT projects, with a focus on data centers

Description

• Manag the data center projects, as well as strong technical and project management skills

• Owns the project scope, timeline, and budget.

• Provides project management for initiatives aimed at increasing data center resiliency.

• Performs electrical design and reviews designs for optimization of existing data centers.

• Reviews construction/project package drawings.

• Creates project scope, request for proposals, and capital requests.

• Drives teams to troubleshoot and perform root cause failure analysis of equipment or electrical failures.

• Works with contractors and vendors to deliver efficient and high-quality project turnovers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on data centers

• Strong technical skills in data center infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing

• Proven ability to manage complex projects

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
