The Role

This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior construction leader to oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex industrial developments. You will provide strategic leadership across design, engineering, procurement, commercial, and construction functions, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Description

• Lead the complete delivery of major industrial construction projects from planning through final handover
• Take full accountability for project safety, quality, cost, schedule, and overall performance
• Develop project execution strategies, construction methodologies, and resource plans to achieve business objectives
• Direct multidisciplinary teams across engineering, design, procurement, commercial, and construction functions
• Oversee the construction of factories, warehouses, industrial infrastructure, roads, drainage systems, utilities, offices, and associated facilities
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and cost performance while driving value engineering initiatives
• Review and approve major procurement packages, subcontract awards, contract variations, and payment certifications
• Ensure engineering designs are practical, buildable, and aligned with construction schedules and project requirements
• Champion a zero-incident safety culture while ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, quality standards, and statutory requirements
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, government authorities, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
• Resolve complex technical, commercial, contractual, and site-related issues through effective leadership and decision-making
• Coordinate closely with supply chain, procurement, and plant operations to ensure timely material and equipment availability
• Lead, mentor, and develop senior project teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement
• Deliver regular executive reports, project performance updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum 15 years of experience leading large-scale industrial or infrastructure construction projects
• Proven track record delivering factories, warehouses, industrial facilities, utilities, roads, drainage systems, and infrastructure developments
• Extensive experience managing multidisciplinary engineering, commercial, procurement, and construction teams
• Strong expertise in project planning, construction management, contract administration, budgeting, and cost control
• Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, QA/QC, HSE, and regulatory compliance
• Professional certification such as PMP, Chartered Engineer, or equivalent is highly preferred
• Outstanding leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage project risks, claims, and contractual matters
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office applications
