• Lead strategic sourcing, commodity trading, and cross-border procurement of animal feed raw materials from Thailand to Myanmar.  
• Up to 80,000 Bhat plus benefits 

The Role 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement or commodity trading professional with strong connections in the Thai agricultural and feed raw material market. The role will take ownership of sourcing, supplier negotiations, market analysis, and import/export coordination, with a particular focus on Soybean Meal (SBM) and other key feed ingredients.

Our client is a growing agribusiness company involved in the sourcing and supply of animal feed raw materials across the region. With an expanding cross-border supply network, the company is looking for a professional who can strengthen supplier relationships in Thailand and support the continued growth of its procurement operations 

Description 

• Lead the sourcing and purchasing of Soybean Meal (SBM) and other animal feed raw materials from Thai suppliers
• Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with manufacturers, crushers, traders, and feed ingredient suppliers across Thailand
• Negotiate pricing, payment conditions, contracts, and other commercial terms to achieve competitive procurement outcomes
• Identify new suppliers and alternative sourcing channels to strengthen supply security and improve purchasing competitiveness
• Track commodity prices and regional market movements covering SBM, corn, wheat, and other feed ingredients
• Assess market trends, supply-demand conditions, currency movements, and supplier pricing to support purchasing and trading decisions
• Prepare market intelligence, supplier comparisons, and procurement recommendations for management
• Coordinate export shipments from Thailand to Myanmar, ensuring documentation and regulatory requirements are properly managed
• Work closely with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth cross-border logistics
• Monitor shipment schedules, inventory requirements, and delivery timelines while proactively resolving logistics issues
• Evaluate supplier performance and manage ongoing quality, delivery, and commercial issues
• Maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and lead negotiations for improved pricing and purchasing conditions
• Monitor landed costs, procurement budgets, KPIs, and cost-saving initiatives
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, shipment documentation, and regular management reports. Work with supply chain functions to anticipate future transportation capacity requirements and address potential bottlenecks
• Lead root-cause reviews for recurring delivery issues and implement sustainable corrective actions

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, International Trade, Agriculture, Logistics, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, commodity trading, or agricultural raw material sourcing. Mandatory experience sourcing and purchasing Soybean Meal (SBM) from Thailand
• Proven experience managing cross-border procurement and export transactions between Thailand and Myanmar
• Experience within feed mills, animal nutrition, agriculture, commodity trading, or agribusiness is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of feed raw material markets and commodity price movements
• Hands-on knowledge of products such as SBM, Corn DDGS, Wheat Bran, Cassava Products, PKE, and other feed raw materials
• Experience with international payment methods including LC and TT, as well as Incoterms such as FOB, CFR, CIF, and DAP
• Excellent negotiation, supplier management, analytical, and cost-control skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement systems
• Fluent in English and Thai
• Willingness to travel regularly within Thailand for supplier meetings, factory visits, and negotiations
