The Role

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to support the Production Director in managing manufacturing and sewing operations. This role will oversee production planning, factory floor execution, quality, productivity, and team performance, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement

Description

• Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans according to order volumes and available capacity
• Oversee factory-floor operations across cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing
• Work closely with Sourcing and Merchandising teams to ensure materials are available and production requirements are aligned
• Monitor production output, resource utilization, defect rates, and other key operational KPIs
• Improve production efficiency through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma practices
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, improve line balancing, and reduce operational costs
• Ensure production teams consistently follow established SOPs and operating standards
• Partner with QA/QC teams to investigate quality issues and address root causes of non-conformance
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure factory environment in line with local labor requirements and international safety standards
• Lead and develop floor supervisors, team leaders, and sewing operators
• Set clear production targets and communicate daily priorities through shift briefings and visual management
• Conduct performance reviews and foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing production culture

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile/Garment Engineering, Production Management, or a related technical discipline
• 8–10 years of garment manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial capacity
• Strong understanding of garment construction, sewing equipment, and factory production processes
• Experience with SMV calculations, line balancing, and ERP or production planning systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel and production data analysis skills
• Proven leadership and people management capabilities within a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
• Fluent Mandarin & English is required
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
