Job Description

Brewing Technologist at a World Class Beverage Brand Manufacturing Company in Phnom Penh

  • Responsible for the day – to – day operational technological/ technical support of the Brewing department and operational business shop floor activities

This is an excellent role for individual with strong experience in commercial brewing background and extensive understanding of the technical aspects of the brewing machines

Description

  • Responsible for the day to day operational technological / technical support of the Brewing department and operational business shop floor activities

  • Control, manage and improve all the technological matters and parameters in Brewing, Tank Farm and Filtration

  • Control, manage and improve all brewing related losses (quality losses and extract losses)

  • Control and Monitor quality of raw and other brewing materials and work with suppliers on defect reduction and optimizations

  • Control, manage and improve the Microbiological status of all products and equipment

  • Support Brewing Manager to ensure all standards and procedures are implemented and adhere to

  • Support trials for product/process improvement/innovations for brewing technology and/or extension projects

  • Machine Parameter List: Control, manage and improve all brewing technological parameters

  • FTR Beer Production and Finished Product: Control, manage and improve FTR Brewhouse, FTR Fermentation, FTR Bright Beer and FTR Finished Product

  • FTR Micro Beer Production: Control, manage and improve FTR Micro Beer Production

  • Control, manage and improve RM and production extract losses

  • Daily check of Qualisys data, follow up of all out of specification

  • Ensuring all instrumentation is calibrated and functioning

  • Participate or Lead improvement teams, Root Cause and Failure Analysis (RFCA) & follow up. Participate in PQ Pillar, DAS & Follow up

  • Participate in HOC/5S/Safety Audits

  • Ensure Adherence to Lab Star system

  • Responsible for information for Quality, GMP and Food Safety Systems in Brewing Department

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, brewing science or technological degree

  • Having minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in brewing operation

  • Local Khmer and have average English ability
