​Business Development Manager at an International Integrated Logistic Service Provider Company in Bangkok, Thailand

  • Responsible for looking after all key clients and expanding the client base through an active sales pipeline and sound sales strategy

  • Up to 80,000 THB per month

The role will hold responsibility for the management of the development of the BD team as the company progresses in Thailand. Ideally looking for an individual with logistic service sales experience, freight services sales in the Thailand Market with strong English proficiency to work closely with CEO

About the Company

Our client is an international integrated logistic service provider with a B2B Tech Platform providing end-to-end logistic service and distribution across the Mekong Region. With a strong presence in Myanmar and now diversifying into Thailand and Cambodia Markets


  • Develop and grow revenue and margins for the company by approaching new clients through an active sale pipeline

  • Maintain and enhance major client accounts and ensure client accounts are delegated accordingly within the regional BD Team

  • Undertake cross-selling and up-selling within the existing customer base to further develop account potential through road freight, value-added products and other services

  • Develop and grow the BD Team in line with company strategy and budgets

  • Work in real-time to solve ongoing client issues daily across all stakeholders

  • Lead meetings with new and existing clients at a senior level

  • Represent the company at networking events, expos and seminars throughout Thailand

  • Maintain and help develop the company CRM with the Myanmar BD Manager ensuring all BD Teams are reporting in a timely and accurate manner

  • Works closely with the CEO to set up ambitious targets and KPIs with the BD Team and to develop a commission-based rewards program in the future

  • Works closely with the CEO to price tenders and major project quotations

  • Responsible for the management, handling and final authorization of RFQ's and general quotations

  • Understands company revenue and margin targets, working closely with the CEO to plan sales strategies to meet those targets

  • Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present to the company its products and services

  • Works directly and closely across multiple departments to achieve desired results through alignment and coordination with the operations, finance departments, and external vendors such as CHB

  • Works closely with the CEO to develop new departments and services in line with overall company strategy and growth plans in Thailand


  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the logistic sector in Thailand with Inland Road Transportation, freight forwarding, and customs clearance knowledge

  • Previous experience as a BD manager in any other sector is an advantage

  • Minimum 2 years of management experience, preferably in the logistics sector

  • Logistics and supply chain qualifications are an advantage

  • Proficiency in English skills in both verbal & and written

  • Must be Thai Nationality
