​Sales and Marketing Executive at Global Liner Service and Logistic Service Provider Company in Cambodia

  • Responsible to develop new customers and maintain existing customers

  • Up to $750 per month

The Role

The ideal background for the role includes a minimum of a year or two of sales experience within the international freight/forwarding/logistics industry and healthy relationships with various export/freight forwarders in the Cambodia Market

Our client is a global liner agency and logistic service provider with progressive establishment in Cambodia and core activities being Liner Agency, Port Agency, Offshore Support Services, Project Logistics, and Freight Forwarding. The Group has over 1600 staff and 125 offices across the globe and has been operating as a Shipping Company for over 160 years

Description

  • Find new customers and maintain existing customers

  • Keeping customers updated with new/changed service, schedule, rates, surcharges, etc.

  • Analysing reports and carrying out market research to find new prospects

  • Preparing weekly + monthly reports to Managers

  • Sending sales leads to Principles and overseas agents & follow-up

  • Communicating with Customer Service/ Documentations Department/ Logistics Department/ Operation Team for internal smooth cooperation to provide the best service to customers

  • Following up on departed shipments to ensure freight is paid on time and solve unexpected problems if any

  • Other duties assigned by Management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field

  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of sales experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry

  • Strong customer service mindset, result-oriented, enthusiastic, motivated, and confident

  • Good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to tolerate work pressure and stress

  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin Language would be an added advantage
