Description

• Develop new clients and cargo bookings through referrals, social media, network, and cold calling.

• Establish and achieve close level of customer support through regular communication and sales visit to develop in depth business relationship and uphold our service commitment, which may include coordinating with internal departments to resolve customer issues and feedback, and updating customers on shipment tracking

• Develop sales leads and forecast for both destination port and shipper-controlled shipments by managing cargo, space utilization and availability information, and offering competitive rates to secure shipment: perform cargo selection to ensure a healthy balance of high and low paying cargo for assigned trades

• Ensure all final booking lists are entered correctly into system and provide timely weekly sales and market reports to Regional Office and HQ

Requirements

• Minimum 5 -7 years of commercial experience from container shipping or similar.

• High level of Integrity and Ethics

• An independent worker who is self-motivated

• Results oriented with the drive to achieve agreed targets

• Customer Oriented with the passion to deal with people in various levels

• Ability to manage time well to meet tight deadlines

• Good English verbal and written communication skills
