The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled coatings professional to play a key role in managing new color development and customer solutions. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, closely supporting key account strategies and project execution with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation

Description

  • Take charge of key initiatives such as new color launches, raw material replacements, and product quality planning aligned

  • Act as a key technical partner supporting customer account teams by translating commercial strategy into practical engineering solutions

  • Coordinate closely with lab teams to plan and manage resources for development projects, while ensuring spending remains within defined cost limits

  • Track project performance, update stakeholders on progress, and manage technical documentation such as specifications and modification requests

  • Serve as the main liaison for process updates and cost optimization, ensuring labs operate efficiently and procedures are regularly reviewed

  • Lead knowledge-sharing reviews at the end of key projects, identifying opportunities to streamline future workflows

  • Provide technical support on global initiatives or client-specific innovations, including remote or international project coordination as required

  • Establish and maintain long-term technical relationships with key customers to drive collaboration and identify future development opportunities

  • Promote a safe, clean, and compliant work environment aligned with EHS, quality, and operational excellence standards

  • Visit client facilities to assist with on-site technical or quality concerns during assembly or production phases

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the automotive coatings industry

  • Solid understanding of coatings formulation, color development, and APQP procedures

  • Experience in technical project management and lab operations

  • Proficient in Thai and English; Chinese language skills are a must

  • Strong communication and coordination skills with a proactive mindset
