The Role

An excellent opportunity for a qualified Indian Chartered Accountant with pharmaceutical industry experience who is ready to take on a senior finance leadership role in the Philippines. The successful candidate will lead a team of four and report directly to the CFO and Philippines Country Manager.

Description

• Lead and oversee the company’s finance and accounting operations in the Philippines
• Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow planning
• Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards, taxation requirements and relevant financial regulations
• Maintain effective internal controls and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information
• Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to the CFO and Philippines Country Manager
• Manage and develop a finance team of four employees
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, tax advisers and relevant regulatory authorities
• Support management with commercial decisions, cost control and business planning
• Oversee financial processes and reporting through Tally accounting software

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant from India
• Indian national who is currently based in the Philippines or willing to relocate
• Proven finance and accounting experience within the pharmaceutical industry
• Previous experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar leadership position
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, compliance and internal controls
• Strong leadership, analytical and stakeholder-management capabilities
• Fluency in English is required
• Ability to work effectively with senior regional and country-level management
