• Responsible for providing onsite operational support for enterprise WAN and Fortinet SD-WAN infrastructure
• Up to 1,800 USD plus other attractive allowances

The Role

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Resident Engineer to provide onsite operational support for enterprise WAN and Fortinet SD-WAN infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for network monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, configuration changes, and technical escalation while working closely with service providers, OEM support teams, and customer operations teams

The Role

• Provide onsite operational support for enterprise WAN and SD-WAN infrastructure
• Manage and support Fortinet SD-WAN deployments and ensure network service availability
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot WAN, routing, and connectivity issues
• Perform incident management and root cause analysis
• Support planned network changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities
• Coordinate with service providers and OEM support teams for technical support and escalation
• Implement network configuration changes in accordance with change management processes
• Maintain operational documentation and reports
• Provide technical escalation support to customer operations teams

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet SD-WAN solutions
• Good knowledge of FortiGate firewall administration
• Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, Static Routing, IPSec, and SSL VPN
• Good knowledge of WAN optimization and LAN/WAN troubleshooting
• Experience with network monitoring tools
• Good understanding of ITIL processes
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with good communication abilities
