The Role

As the Head of Tax, you will lead the Tax practice, overseeing both Tax Advisory and Tax Compliance. 
You will manage a team of Tax Managers, provide technical leadership, and contribute to the strategic
growth of the Tax service line.

Description

• Lead and manage the Tax practice, overseeing both Tax Advisory and Tax Compliance services
• Manage a portfolio of key clients and maintain strong, long-term business relationships
• Review and oversee complex tax advisory projects, tax planning, and compliance engagements
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, international tax standards, and internal quality requirements
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Tax Managers, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture
• Collaborate with Audit, Advisory, and other service lines to deliver integrated solutions for clients
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and provide technical guidance to both clients and internal teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Taxation, Law, or a related field
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent is preferred
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in tax, with significant exposure to tax advisory and tax compliance
• Previous experience in a Big 4 or professional services firm is highly preferred
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and multiple client engagements
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax, indirect tax, international tax, and local tax regulations
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
• Fluent in both English and Khmer, with strong written and verbal communication skills
