The Role

Lead and manage the company’s finance function, overseeing financial planning, cost accounting, inventory management, financial reporting, treasury, and working capital management. Ensure accurate financial records, compliance with Cambodian tax regulations, and effective financial controls to support business objectives and operational efficiency.

About the Company

Our client is an established garment manufacturing company in Cambodia, operating in a dynamic industry and focusing on efficient production, cost control, and quality manufacturing operations.

Description

• Manage manufacturing cost accounting, including direct labor, raw materials, and production overhead allocation
• Oversee monthly, interim, and year-end inventory counts, analyzing variances in raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
• Implement inventory controls and improve stock turnover
• Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis against actual factory performance
• Analyze production efficiency, material usage, and cost-saving opportunities
• Develop financial models and business cases for capital expenditure and operational improvements
• Oversee full sets of accounts and ensure accurate and timely financial closing
• Prepare management reports and statutory financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Ensure compliance with Cambodian tax regulations and labor-related requirements
• Coordinate internal and external audits and manage relationships with local government authorities
• Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and treasury operations to ensure timely payroll and supplier payments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are highly preferred
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive financial management experience, including mandatory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in the garment, textile, or denim industry is a strong advantage
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and inventory management
• Good understanding of Cambodian tax and labor regulations
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as Xero, Skala, CIN7, SAP, or QuickBooks
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and pivot tables
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin or Khmer is an advantage
