• The Account Receivable Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of incoming payments, monitoring outstanding invoices, and ensuring timely collection of payments from customers.

Responsible to collaborate with internal departments and external clients to resolve payment discrepancies and maintain positive relationships.

 Description

• Reviewing and verifying the accuracy and completeness of claims and invoices.

• Maintaining a daily record of activities related to accounts receivable.

• Using system reports to manage accounts receivable, prioritizing accounts based on high dollar amount and days outstanding.

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and specifications.

• Maintaining supplier relationships, addressing any concerns or disputes that may arise.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as an Accounts Receivable or Accountant.

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.

• Proficiency in using spreadsheets and accounting software.

• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
