The Role

To develop and implement strategies to build relationships with government officials, secure funding for the organization's programs and services, and advocate for the organization's interests.

Description

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, including managing staff, developing and managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

• Represent the organization at meetings, events, and other functions

• Prepare and deliver presentations to government officials and other stakeholders

• Write and edit reports, proposals, and other documents

• Track and manage grant funding

• Stay up-to-date on current legislation and regulations that affect the organization

Requirements

• Master's degree in public policy, public administration, or a related field

• At least 5 years in real estate and construction, legislative affairs, regulatory affairs or public policy analysis

• Preferred sector: Property development and construction, Hospitality and Event.

• Fluent English is a must and Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus

• Strong understanding of the legislative process

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

• Ability to travel as needed
