The Role

This role primarily focuses on managing the Electronic Medical Record system development, including coordination with external vendors and leading the future in-house team

Description

  • Lead the initiation and planning of the in-house EMR (Electronic Medical Record) development project

  • Identify, assess, and collaborate with potential software development teams or technology partners, including joint venture opportunities

  • Oversee the project lifecycle, including timeline, budget, resource planning, and key milestones

  • Ensure the EMR system design is aligned with hospital workflows, regulatory requirements, and international healthcare standards

  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, challenges, risks, and recommended solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in health informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Biomedical Engineering, or related field

  • 7+ years of experience in EMR/EHR system development, implementation, or healthcare IT project management

  • Strong understanding of hospital operations and workflows, including clinical services, pharmacy, laboratory, imaging, billing, and medical records

  • Demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end IT or healthcare system projects, including budgeting, timeline management, and vendor coordination

  • Knowledge of patient data privacy regulations, healthcare standards, and compliance frameworks

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Myanmar language is preferred
