Job Description

Sales and Marketing Head at a Leading Agriculture Company, Thailand

  • Responsible for leading sales strategy, field marketing activities, and after-sales operations across Thailand to drive market growth and long-term commercial success

  • Up to 70,000 THB with performance-based incentives and allowances

The Role

The Sales & Marketing Head will oversee the full spectrum of commercial operations including sales planning, customer development, field demonstration management, after sales services, and product performance monitoring. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and relationship focused, capable of leading market expansion and working closely with farmers, distributors, shops, and internal teams to ensure product success and customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership & Sales Growth

  • Drive sales planning and customer base expansion across Thailand

  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and performance plans

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers in the market

  • Conduct field visits to promote products and understand customer needs

Market Development & Product Promotion

  • Organize farmer meetings, field demonstrations (Demo plots), and Field Days

  • Prepare commercial plots for product comparison and performance analysis

  • Present agronomic results to farmers, shops, and partners

  • Support market visibility through relevant marketing activities

After Sales Support & Customer Service

  • Inspect products nearing expiry and coordinate with the quality team

  • Manage product returns, adjustments, and replacements

  • Follow up on goods delivery and collaborate with logistics and finance teams for debt collection

  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and field support

Product Testing & Technical Coordination

  • Plan and manage test plots for various plant species

  • Analyze test data and prepare planting plans and performance reports

  • Provide technical knowledge to customers and internal teams

Operational & Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal teams including R&D, quality, logistics, and finance

  • Support product lifecycle management through data collection and farmer insights

  • Contribute to strategic planning for product introduction and market expansion

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field

  • Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in vegetable seed sales or agribusiness

  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)

  • Solid computer proficiency (MS Word & Excel)

  • Strong customer focus, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently

  • Willingness to travel frequently across Thailand
