​Senior Financial Analyst at an International Company in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

The role requires for analysing financial data, developing financial models, preparing strategic financial plans, and providing actionable recommendations to support business growth and financial stability

Description

  • Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports to support business decisions

  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning

  • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for deviations from budgets or forecasts

  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to prepare strategic financial plans, including annual budgets and quarterly forecasts

  • Monitor financial performance and identify risks and opportunities, recommending corrective actions

  • Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations

  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is required

  • Advanced degrees (MBA, CFA) or professional certifications (CPA) are preferred but not mandatory

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably in an international company or a multinational environment

  • Experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; Khmer language skills are advantageous
