• You will be responsible for leading internal audit activities, assessing internal controls and business risks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

The Role

You will be responsible for planning and managing internal audit activities to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. You will work closely with management and relevant stakeholders to identify risks, recommend improvements, and support the achievement of business objectives.

Description

• Lead and manage the internal audit function and develop annual audit plans based on business risks
• Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, procedures, and risk management processes
• Identify control weaknesses and business risks and provide practical recommendations for improvement
• Prepare audit reports and present key findings and recommendations to senior management
• Monitor the implementation of agreed audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions
• Work closely with different departments to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of internal control, risk management, and audit procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify business risks and control weaknesses
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Professional qualification such as CIA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is an advantage
