The Role

The role focuses on managing and expanding the SME customer portfolio, acquiring new business, assessing credit opportunities, and providing suitable lending and banking solutions to support clients’ business growth while maintaining strong portfolio quality

Description

• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of SME customers by developing strong, long-term relationships and understanding their business and financial needs
• Identify and acquire new SME customers through market visits, networking, referrals, business development activities, and targeted customer acquisition
• Promote SME lending products, including business loans, working capital facilities, overdrafts, and other relevant banking solutions
• Conduct customer visits, business assessments, financial analysis, and credit evaluation to prepare and submit quality loan applications and credit proposals
• Monitor loan utilization, repayment performance, portfolio quality, and credit conditions while ensuring timely renewal and review of existing facilities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 or 5 years of working experience in SME Banking, Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, or Credit within the banking industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Strong experience in SME lending, customer acquisition, portfolio management, and business development
• Good knowledge of credit assessment, financial statement analysis, loan structuring, and SME business operations
• Khmer Nationality with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
