The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced footwear quality professional to join a globally recognized brand side. The role goes beyond final product inspection, requiring strong technical knowledge of footwear construction, manufacturing processes, fitting, and production problem-solving

Description

• Oversee footwear quality performance throughout the entire production process, from development stage to final shipment

• Conduct inline and final inspections to ensure products meet brand quality standards and technical specifications

• Review footwear construction, pattern, materials, components, and manufacturing processes to identify potential quality risks

• Evaluate shoe fitting, comfort, workmanship, and functional performance to ensure product accuracy

• Provide technical guidance to factories on construction methods, production issues, and quality improvement opportunities

• Monitor production processes including cutting, stitching, lasting, assembly, finishing, and packing stages

• Identify defects, analyze root causes, and work with factories to implement effective corrective actions

• Support sample evaluation, trial production, and new product introduction activities

• Review technical documents, specifications, and measurement requirements to ensure production alignment

• Collaborate with suppliers, factory teams, and international stakeholders to improve quality performance

• Prepare inspection reports, quality analysis, and improvement recommendations for management review

• Support factory capability assessments and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in footwear, manufacturing, engineering, or related fields

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in footwear quality control, footwear production, or technical roles

• Strong knowledge of footwear construction, manufacturing processes, and fitting standards

• Experience with footwear inspection beyond final quality checking, including inline quality control and production improvement

• Good understanding of shoe patterns, materials, components, and assembly processes

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify production issues and recommend solutions

• Experience working with international brands or export footwear factories is preferred

• Strong communication skills with factories and cross-functional teams

• Ability to travel for factory visits when required
